: Urban Myth? In conversation with South Australian Government EPA I was told" In USA Husband became ill & was admitted to hospital where he was diagnosed (blood test)with having severe arsenic poisoning. Initially his Wife was charged by police as having poisoned her husband by the administering of arsenic. Belatedly she also checked for arsenic levels( blood test) & it was discovered that she also had high levels of Arsenic in her body. Common factor both husband & wife were that they were both engaged in the building of a wooden log cabin made out of treated timber (CCA)" Can any body verify this story as it came from SA EPA but I did not get source from the EPA officer?

Hi Warren,

Yes the story is true and I have sent you three news articles which are either about or refer to them.

As the links are not available to them all anymore, anyone can email me for a copy, I have a huge cca news database.

The under pressure article is available on my news page which refers to this story and others that was written by Eric Savitz of the Barrons of wallstreet fame.

Take care and please keep safe.

Deborah
